Damon “Amin” Meadows a native from the streets of South Philadelphia, is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. He co-wrote Convict’s Candy while serving time in federal prison, educating the masses on life behind bars from his own personal perspective; while seriously instilling the importance of HIV/AIDS awareness.
In 1993, Amin was tried and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, being only a first-time offender. Through his faith in Allah, Amin was successful in the appellant process, and released in 2013.
