Books Booze & Babes from Metairie, LA

here are several book clubs in the NOLA area but they all focus on "literary works" and promote their clubs as having "intelligent discussions". That sounds uptight and stuffy to me & just isn't my cup of tea, so to speak. I want to have a club just for ladies that focuses on “fun & entertaining” books. The kind of books that make you say, just one more chapter then I’ll get to the ___. Easy read books that moms will be able to get a few chapters in while the little ones nap. Not to say we won’t have intelligent discussions I’m just saying if you want to read books that are “works of art” this is not your kind of club. As the club name suggests our meetings will be at locations where booze is available. I am a non smoker & prefer to meet at a restaurant or a bar that serves food so that we have a smoke free environment.

I’m hoping to have a great group of ladies who, like me are ready to meet other readers who are laid back, grab a book, a drink & kick off your shoes kind of people. This club is for you if, when you think of a stimulating book you think of Lora Leigh :-)
