Heavenly Bound Women from Elizabeth/Patterson, NJ

Heavenly Bound Women is a book club that has been established to honor the LORD by what we read. This book club is not only for those who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but also in the manner of Matthew 9:12- 13: When Jesus heard that, He said to them, Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what that means: I desire mercy not Sacrifice. For I did not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.

We are a small intimate group of African American Woman of all ages. We meet once a month. Our meetings are held in Elizabeth or Paterson, New Jersey. We get together and discuss our selection of the month. Members rotate hosting duties on a monthly basis, so no one person bears the load. Books that are read are those that will bring us closer to GOD, whether to lead another to Christ or for our personal lives. No one is sinless but every day we must sin less. We must ask the Lord and Savior for the strength to live a Heaven-Bound life in a Hell-Bent World. Our group has a passion for reading and looks for that in others.
