My Protest: Please Don’t Erase Our History!

Jaliyah’s favorite topic is black history. She was excited to learn about the heritage of her people. Learning about the amazing things Black people have done and accomplished makes Jaliyah proud and inspires her to do something great someday. Black history is under fire and even facing censorship in some states. Jaliyah finds this information highly important and is sad when she learns that much detail may be removed from books.

My Protest: Please Don’t Erase Our History! is a book children need to read. It includes so much important and valuable information children should learn. In addition to the vibrant pictures for young readers, there are exciting activities for them to complete, like coloring images of some of the most inspiring figures in Black history.
