Once again it's about that time for the Charlotte Literary Festival. This year the festival is also teaming up with Charlotte's very first Neo-Soul festival. With the two teaming up, I'm sure it will be entertaining as well as enlightening for everyone in attendance.

Featured guests include Mary Monroe, Susan Taylor, Kiki Swinson, Omar Tyree, and Sonia Sanchez. Recording artists that will be performing are Dwele, N'Dambi, and Algebra. There will be a Kids Corner, workshops, a Teen Idol competition and many vendors as well as other authors.

I'd like to also like to take the time to extend a $5 off discount per ticket to ALL Book Clubs. That's right, you only pay $20 for two days jam packed days filled with surprises AND entertainment. Friday, September 10, 6:00-10:00 p.m. and Saturday, September, 11th 11:00-8:00 p.m.
