  1. Nfasu kaFunani has seen many seasons and many wars, yet he refuses to give up the braid and take his place as an elder. A new war comes, and he is called to lead young warriors to battle. But this time, Nfasu senses he may not return. This exciting eStory includes maps of Ki Khanga and alternate cover art by Emax Emmanuel Olumide and Prince Bhadmus. Nfasu's Braid
  2. The definition of race and racial classification has been around for a few hundred years now. The sticking point in the debate you're having with others is the difference between how race has been defined and scientific reality (genetic). Right. This is why I'm perfectly fine with tribes as brotha @richardmurray calls them i.e. people grouping themselves by race, ethnicity, nationality, etc. A very long time ago, white folks decided they were going to dominate the planet. They created the system of racism white supremacy. The system has been used against Black people in one way or another for 100s of years.😎
  3. Third-year medical resident Jack Wheaton has been assigned an intern. The young mystery doctor who he is asked to supervise is impressive in every way. Smart and beautiful, Anita Thomas demonstrated a level of knowledge and expertise beyond her years. Soon, strange things begin to erupt in Anita’s orbit. When Jack eventually demands an explanation, he discovers that she is a biomedical prodigy with a billion-dollar secret being pursed by pharmaceutical assassins bent on extracting everything she knows. When they are finished, they will dispose of Anita and Jack . . . permanently. "With glimpses into the practice of medicine, The Painkillers is a first-rate medical thriller that thrusts an overworked but determined doctor and colorful characters in his orbit into a tangled web of deception involving Big Pharma, insider trading, shady academic and medical ethics, and murder for profit. Outstanding." -Gary Earl Ross, author of the Nickel City mysteries. “ . . . Curiosity got to me, and I read an advance copy of The Painkillers. Gripping. Wildly different. I finished it at past three in the morning. It’s still in my head.” - Larry Niven, Master of Science Fiction Author Preorder The Painkillers today directly from MVmedia at a special discount. 4. I doubt that Robert Williams was as popular as his non-violent contemporaries. Interesting part of the video is that Williams turned down a phone call from Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King hadn't answered or showed up when Williams requested him. So, Williams felt like he had to handle that situation himself. Wiliams was totally on point in organizing a militia of armed Black folks to protect themselves in racist NC pre-1960s. I could see Cuba giving Robert Williams political asylum. Surprised that China did as well to include a reception provided by Chinese people too. Robert Williams was a real one. But, I also understand the majority of Black folks' decision not to arm themselves being 1/10th of the population during that time.😎
  5. Your point was made all along to the extent that race and racial classifications have been defined. Race exists because we accept and use it to classify ourselves. The funny thing is mostly Black and white people identify themselves by color. Every now and then, I'll hear someone refer to themselves as brown. I never hear someone refer to themselves as red or yellow. Of course, many folks will claim their nationality and/or ethnicity as defined too.😎
