Recently started reading The Rebels Clinic about Frantz Fanon. Very good so far.

Prompted me to buy Aime Cesaire's Notebook of a Return to my Native Land.

After a very long time, ordered Black Skin, White Mask from Afrori books in Brighton.

Just finished Selma 1965 and starting Consumed by Aja Barber. Many more books waiting in the wings including Zora Neale Hurston's autobiography,Going to meet the Man by Baldwin and A Taste of Power by Elaine Brown.

The biography of Darkus Howe,Renegade. Pretty good,I must say.

Just started watching this on Netflix. Interesting to say the least. 

Reading a biography on Lorraine Hansberry. Pretty good so far. 

Finally ordered Race Matters by Cornel West. Finally. 

In 48, after the establishment of Israel, the Nakba occurred . It wasn't enough for the Zionists. No, more land was required and at the expense of the Palestinians. At least 400 villages were destroyed. And the 'locals', the settlers are still not happy today. 

Yes,Gaza was given back but it's the biggest open air prison in the world.

Watched a profile on Faith recently on the BBC. Haven't heard of her before but was a fascinating documentary.

Read a fair amount about Audre Lorde but never actually read anything by her. Till now. 

I've told my daughter time and time again about am*zon. She pays for Prime so I checked the film out. I gotta say that I really enjoyed it. But Sam Cooke didn't look nothing like him. 

Still, scouring the pages I came across a film I've never heard of. Sylvie's Love. The trailer looked good so I dived in. Excellent stuff.
