  1. I love the idea of bloggers helping bloggers...especially within the black community. I had started a blog to focus on financial literacy. Understanding and managing money. I think the lack of money and the financial errors caused by under education leads to many problems within our community. I am hoping that we can reach enough people to be able to make a difference in our community. http://thecleverafrican.com/
  2. I know that sometimes discussion on religious topics gives various people different feelings. But in addressing the question in this thread- I think there is great evidence the answer is 'yes'. Many people who study revelation have come to this conclusion based on the information provided. Here is a link that would give you the details, scripture, and support for why the USA is the second beast in Revelation 13. The Roman Catholic Papal System is still the 1st Beast in Revelation, this was universally understood by everyone who studied this topic and led to the Protestant Reformation. But read the question and answer guide in the link, read the scriptures it references, and make your own judgement- there is overwhelming support. https://www.amazingfacts.org/media-library/study-guide/e/4998/t/the-usa-in-bible-prophecy
  3. Mr. Pioneer, I agree. I think the imbalance is clearly apparent to all like you said. I guess I was angling toward the lack of financial awareness that often leads to a cycle of poverty- and this poverty leads to many other things. This lack of financial knowledge (specifically) stood out to me as being detrimental to our development as a group. I'm hoping some find the quiz helpful as understanding the areas we may be weak is the baseline before we can take steps toward improvement. I am hoping to learn more as I read through some of the commentary on different issues on this site.
  4. Hey all I am a new to the site but have been reading the content for some time. I have read studies that indicate that our people fall behind the other major ethnic groups when it comes to understanding money. Financial Literacy, or lack thereof, leads to so many other issues. We need to teach each other and grow as a people. Here is a quick 2 minute quiz to test your general knowledge when it comes to money. http://thecleverafrican.com/2017/04/13/financial-literacy-quiz/
