Thanks, Joe. I know I been bad mouthing you, but you've redeemed yourself and have come through in the clutch. You've saved your legacy, and Ametica owes you its gratitude for all you've done to make it a better place.

Kamala, you may have to make a sacrifice too, girlfriend.  Are the undecided swing voters ready for a black woman president? This country is about to be tested. If preserving democracy is the goal, you may have a shot.

But desperate times call for desperate decisions, and - testosterone is better fuel for aggression than estrogen is.

Humph. Listen to me, talkin like I give a damn about rescuing America from what Donald Trump represents.

...I got grandkids, y'all.

I hate to see the President forced out because people are driven by the media, polls, and Rightwing Psychological manipulation rather than conviction and a willingness to fight no matter what. But Kamala Harris maybe the nominee unless others come forward at the convention. I hope she won't face opposition.

It took a month for POTUS PJB to accept that he was fighting on shaky legs.

Some of us are taught not to quit but sometimes one has to tap out and fight on a different level.

Whatever juice POTUS PJB has along with the Democratic brain trust...they need to channel that energy into making VP Harris a stronger candidate or whoever they're going to nominate.

Either way, the damage may already be done in terms of delivering the White House back to the Orange Jackazz.

We'll see if America pulls to the Left just to save itself.😎

@Kenneth  I don't buy the idea that Dems should've stuck with Biden simply because you should fight on no matter what. You gotta know "when to hold 'em or when to fold 'em".  Winless battles may be heroic but they're not victories.

IMO, It didn't take the media or polls or  right wing psychology to manipulate those calling for Biden to step down. Joe's demeanor spoke volumns. It was obvious to anyone who got past their emotions, that Joe is no longer up to speed. Age has taken its toll on him both mentally and physically.

I also see no harm in an open. convention.  Suppose Kamala doesn't succeed in earning  the right to have the nomination handed to her.  Defeating Trump is the prime objective. Not projecting a false unity.

@ProfD I agree that the Dems have a big job trying to make Kamala palatable. Black men have been among her harshest critics.  She has baggage the Retrumpicans are already poised to drag out. She better choose an impressive running mate.

Those who I argue with accuse me of being too negative. I tell them that the media they are brainwashed by are motion pictures. They think everything is a conspiracy and that life is like a movie where the impossible happens and the good guys win or the bad guys devastate. Life can be very random. Luck is capricious. Reality is a bitch.

Thanks aka for responding to my post. Standing and fighting as a united front win or lose works for the Republican Right every time. Even when they lose a Presidential race they come together to obstruct the Democrat. They just might win again with a lying convicted fellow whose willing to flirt with authoritarianism.

Too often Democrats are reactive and defensive due to media narratives, polling, and opposition from the Republican Right. They come off as weak and Standing for nothing while also being too divided.

Biden was a fighter who did a lot of good for the country despite being old and slow all along. He was a likable and known quantity which may be especially important with independent swing voters needed to win the election.  Kicking him out and going with Harris or anyone else poses a big risk.

But I will vote for her.

This has been the contrast between the two political parties for for almost 2 decades now.

The GOP pushes through legislation to satisfy their conservative agenda while in office.

The Dems sit back and complain about what the obstructionists won't allow them to do.

Case in point...Dems are still talking about reinstating Roe v Wade. Didn't bother to codify it under Clinton or Obama.

Again, there's a reason that Dems appear to be in opposition to the GOP.

The 1st time around, POTUS PJB won the election as a referendum on former POTUS Orange Julius.

Unfortunately, POTUS PJB didn't do enough in catering to those swing voters to secure their votes again.  Then, his mental and physical abilities started betraying him.

The Dems should have held POTUS PJB to being a one-term solution.  They should have started grooming his heir apparent 4 or more years ago.

instead, I believe Dems put too much stock in trying to weaken former POTUS OJ enough to keep him from getting re-elected.

Looks like Dems plan A backfired and they never even bothered to develop a plan B.😎

To be honest, I'm wondering if the 25th Amendment shouldn't already be invoked.

Harris probably should assume office RIGHT NOW for the security of the nation.

There's already folks around POTUS PJB keeping hm propped up and doing the job. I think he'll be fine for the next 6 months.

Then, we'll send POTUS PJB back to Delaware...as Umar would say....for good!🤣😎
