Former POTUS Orange Julius had a meeting with the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). 

 

Instead of making any case for what he plans to do for Black folks, former POTUS OJ was combative, insulted his hosts and doubled down on his ignorant rhetoric. 

 

Not that we should have expected anything different but former POTUS OJ clearly did not use the opportunity to ingratiate himself with Black folks.

 

Former POTUS OJ is consistent in letting Black folks know he's doesn't and never will give a d8mn about then.

 

Surely, that interview wont stop Tim Scott, Candace Owens and Larry Elder and others from supporting the Orange Jackazz.

I saw a little bit of it in a few clips but I didn't actually watch it.
10 years ago I would have, but today I'm jaded with not only Trump but the mild reactions to his antics by his so-called opponents

I was listening to Tariq Nasheed the other day and people all in the comment section talking about they should have been more respectful, less biased, give him a chance.
Give him a chance to DO WHAT?
We already KNOW the man is a racist liar....do you need to hear MORE racism and lies from him to make up your mind?

 

Why was he even ALLOWED to come to a Black Journalist's convention, let alone INVITED to one?

Fair is not inviting his ass on in the first place....that's FAIR.
 

The man can come on and lie, say the most outrageous things, say out right racist and bigoted things....and instead of him being censured and kept out of the media and even sued or locked up for his antics, he moves from one platform to another to spread more venom.

He's clearly being ALLOWED by people higher than him to stir up anger and hatred in this nation.

But what is even more disturbing is the mind manipulation going on with so many of our people who will IGNORE all of the lies and racism that comes from Trump (we won't even get into his supporters) and still worship him.

They thought he'd come in humble and sit down and answer their questions. Clearly, they didn't think it through well enough.

Some Black folks act like the abused person in a toxic relationship. No matter how badly they're mistreated....they still believe it will get better and want to find a way to make it work.

Well that's the thing about supporting Trump.

I'll admit, if the man HADN'T ALREADY been in office for 4 years and didn't do shit for us.
Based simply on what I've seen and heard in these past 4 years from Biden, Harris, and Trump; and what I know of Trump's financial history.....I too would be inclined to give the man a chance.

Although he's a liar and a racist, my reasoning is that he is a business man and perhaps Black people in positions of leadership could possibly broker a deal with him and get SOMETHING out of it.
I also would be inclined to believe that he really would be tough in immigration to a certain extent.
Tougher than Harris would be, anyway.

But hell, the man has ALREADY been in office and showed what he was going to do.
Absolutely nothing.
From a PRACTICAL point of view, there will be no difference between the actions of Trump or Harris.
Presidents are just figureheads, while the real policy makers are behind the scenes.

The real danger of Trump being in office is how he emboldens the racists on the street level and in law enforcement.
His image and what he represents is unbridled racist White masculinity....like those riots over in England.

If the GOP maintains control of the House and flips the Senate and if they're willing to ride with former POTUS OJ, they could change laws and roll America back 100 years.

 

Going a step further, if former POTUS OJ decides he wants a lifetime appointment, a GOP run Congress could make that happen too.

 

Ultimately, it depends on the America white folks really want. That remains to be seen over the next few years.
