Pro football player star WR Tyreek Hill was speeding on his way to work.

 

An aggressive cop turned a traffic stop into a full blown over-reaction on his part.

 

Tyreek says he could've handled the traffic stop differently. He also acknowledged that as Black man he was lucky it didn't go in another direction.

 

The sheriff's deputy has been placed on administrative leave. Semi-standard operating procedure nowadays.😎

This is my question.......
I know Miami is pretty much ran by Cubans, but where were the BLACK cops??

I didn't watch the video and don't plan on it.
It's sad what they did to the brutha but.....it's to the point that if I can't do anything about it besides spit at the screen and cuss...I'm better off not even watching it.
But in the brief clips I've seen of the incident, all I saw was  a bunch of White officers around with him spread out on the ground; where were the Black cops?

You got plenty of Black folks down in Miami whether they're FBA, Haitian, Jamaican, etc...so where were THEY during all of this and what were THEY doing?

The problem is all skin folks aren't kinfolks. We have no friends even among Black and Brown people.

 

Tyreek was driving a $400k sports car. Some of those fools might have allowed their envy or jealousy to keep them from helping him.

 

Places like Miami and Los Angeles have the same problem when it comes to law enforcement. Latinos are the buffer class enforcing the system of racism white supremacy.

 

I know FBA brothas and sistas in law enforcement who say the non-FBA Black and Brown folks are a real problem. It's like a gang working against us.

 

The question remains what will it take for FBAs to get on code and start protecting themselves and each other from these hostile enemies.😎

I'm not sure what to say.

 

Some of his teammates passing by also on their way to practice did stop to see what was going on but didn't intervene for fear of making matters worse.

Later, in his interview, as ProfD noted, Tyreek  had the good sense to say he was raised better than that, and  should have been more cooperative and was asking for trouble by not getting out of the squad car, necessitating being pulled out. He also said he was glad the offending cop had been put on administrative leave.

Of course, the brother couldn't resist recreating  the incident after he scored his TD, by putting his hands behind his back while  a teammate pretended to hand cuff him and lead him out of the end zone. 

The police chief promises a full investigation. The police union reports the offending officer is not cooperating with their attempt to represent him.
