84-year old Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi is on a bipartisan Congressional trip to Luxembourg.

Apparently, Rep. Pelosi fell and fractured her hip. She was medivac'd to a hospital and is reportedly receiving excellent treatment.

However, Rep. Pelosi will not be attending the remaining events on the schedule.

Only after being forced to drop out of the race, POTUS PJB is on his way back to Delaware. He can sit in his office there and believe he's still working.

Senator Mitch McConnell is still having medical issues but he's stepped down as Senate Majority Leader. Claims he will not seek re-election in 2027. The universe might stamp that decision.

America really needs to push for term limits and a mandatory retirement age for politicians.

Politicians should not be any different from most citizens who in one way or another are ushered out of the workforce before they reach 70 years old.

These politicians aren't working to feed their families. They've already got more money than they'll ever spend in their remaining years.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi has a net worth of about $230 millon dollars. She can afford to sat down somewhere...whenever her hip heals.😎

Well...

if the elected officials of a certain age need to be removed from an office or denied an office to allow for better quality elected officials, then I concur. But if the younger elected officials have the same quality or worse quality then I don't see the purpose in an age limit.

Definitely not advocating younger elected officials who are inept or unqualified to get the job done.

Ideally, leadership should be people with fresh ideas who are healthy both mentally and physically.

As I've mentioned before regarding age limits, it's not about throwing old folks away.

Folks over 70-years old who still want to work should be in advisory roles.  No heavy lifting required.😎
