 Jean Sagbo's name won't appear on too much of anything in Russia.  The unpaid councilman may not even get added to Russian history books.

Right.  Nobody can take the distinction of being the 1st Black unpaid councilman away from him.

 

The questions are 1) do Russians care about him today and 2) will Russians remember him 50 years from now.
