And you know what?
I think they could actually do a MUCH better job at providing REAL security in Chicago's Black neighborhoods than the current police force or any federal forces that Trump "may" send there.
Because they'd have more of the respect from the community who'd know they are there not as an occupying force but as their brothers.
Doing it out of LOVE and CARE.

The true objective of the enemy is NOT to prevent crime, but to CONTROL it and CONTAIN within certain communities.
Which is why most of the federal contracts that the Nation of Islam used to have to secure various housing projects around the nation including one right there in D.C. (something "Mansions"??? I forgot the name of it) were eventually canceled.
Because the FOI were literally doing TOO good of a job preventing crime and keeping the communities safe.
Something the enemy doesn't want.
They want crime and violence in the hood and the FOI was dissolving that and the disfunction that leads to it.

And did I add....the FOI does all of this UNARMED?

A lot of people have the misconception that the Nation of Islam doesn't use weapons including gats.
That's not exactly true.

I'd be happy to explain the official policy of FOI concerning the use of weapons for all interested.

As I mentioned in another thread, the community could do a better job of stopping crime than any outside force. People don't want to stop it.

Nation of Islam patrolled Mayfair Mansions and Paradise housing projects here in DC back in the day.

I bad mouth Chi-town a lot but I question whether the movers and shakers and powers-that- be are OK with the criminal element that has led to Chicago's  reputation of being a dangerous city!

A high crime rate is a liability that scares off new businesses and tourism and can, for one thing, affect enollment in its many colleges like the prestigious University of Chicago, and UIC, the University of Illinois' extension.  

It should also be noted that crime is not restricted to Chicago's south and west sides. A lot of the shootings and killings occur in the Hispanic barrios where gang activity is well-organized.

Also, Chicago's population is over a million and the  relationship between  the number of people killed in proportion to the total population should be kept in mind. 

In addition to its picturesque, upscale lake front, Chicago is also made up of a lot of different municipalities within the city, quiet beautiful enclaves with their own names, and  far-removed from  what  goes on in the inner-city.

If you just go by the media reports, or Trump's rants    you'd think Chicago was the wild west or a combat zone and this isn't the case.

Trump is just punishing and tarnishing Chicago because it's in a blue state and is a shelter city for immigrants!

Many times Black folks find it easier to just play "ride along" and let White folks do the "grown folks stuff" it takes to actually manage and secure a society like:

-construction
-civil engineering
-defense
-policing
-farming
-urban planning

 

As long as White folks in hard hats or uniforms are keeping society together, the average nigga is focused working just enough to keep the bills paid and spending the rest of the time and money having fun.

If their community gets too dangerous and violent...rather than working on cleaning it up, they just stay out of the way and put up with it UNTIL they can find a way to move out with the White folks where they think things are a little safer and quieter.

Right. The majority of victims in these cities are Black and Brown folks.

 

White folks are not the majority of folks being murdered in any of these cities.

 

But, the white folks are supposedly concerned and scared to be tourists in these places . They are high and mighty and have answers about what needs to be done to clean up.

 

The whire folks who live in these cities aren't hanging out in the areas where folks are being killed.
