Finally, after decades of holding up a California Congressional seat, Rep. Nancy Pelosi has decided it's time to retire. She's 85 years old.

 

Before anyone goes feeling sorry for Rep. Pelosi and/or believing she needs a job to feed her family, keep in mind that she has a net worth of $120 million dollars.

 

Nevermind that a public servant shouldn't be allowed to make that much on the job. Rep. Pelosi and her husband are very well off.

 

Hopefully,  Rep. Jim Clyburn, the sharecropper from South Carolina, will follow suit and retire soon as well.

 

Of course, Rep. Clyburn's net worth of $200,000 dollars is about 0.167% of his buddy Rep. Pelosi.

 

Rep. Clyburn at 85 years old will either stay in Congress until he pulls a Ruth Bader Ginsberg or supplement his pension by selling fish dinners at a VFW in South Carolina. 

 

These two people are shining examples of why there should be term limits in Congress.😎
