Kimberly S. Love Posted December 2, 2025 Report Posted December 2, 2025 Book Description: Austin Creek reconnects a family on the South Carolina seacoast, where the family's animist worldview and southern consciousness direct their return to a mystical enclave in South Alabama. Before the exiled descendants can return to the long-forgotten enclave of their past, they have to complete inner journeys that threaten the meaning of self, marriage, and death. As long-forgotten family legends and environmental mysteries reanimate their story as a Maroon community, the circle of life makes an ultimate transformation in this mythic vision. “Transcendent” –Futurescapes faculty reviewer. Pioneer1 Posted December 8, 2025 Report Posted December 8, 2025 Why don't you include "Dr." in your name? Technically speaking, aren't you Dr. Love? 1
Kimberly S. Love Posted December 10, 2025 Author Report Posted December 10, 2025 @Pioneer1 I am Dr. Love. It doesn't always seem necessary or relevant, though. 1
