March 19Mar 19 comment_80768 The USA dust-up with Iran has already cost billions of dollars. Recently, the Pentagon says they need an additional 200 billion bucks to keep up the fight. Before anyone gets dew-y eyed & surrenders their piggy-bank or cashes stocks & bonds or sell fish dinners, the Pentagon isn't strapped for cash. Considering all that wrong with the economy & folks being poor, hungry & homeless, I'm sure Americans could find something else to do with that $200 billion dollars.😎 Report

Why do we need $200 billion more for a war conflict we "already won", according to the President? 2. Doesn't the Pentagon and Department of Defense have it's own money? Every department has it's own budget, so why does it need more funding from Congress? 3. What does MAGA and other Republicans who support Trump think of this, after he ran much of his campaign criticizing Biden and Obama for getting America in costly foreign conflicts around the globe? These are the questions TRUE opposition would be asking. But we know most of the opposition is controled anyway. Report
