Fugitive Caught After 21 Years on the Run

It doesn't take much to figure out who was allowed to remain on the run for 21 years after skipping out on a s8xual assault criminal trial.

The 70-year-old fugitive was arrested without incident aboard a 56-foot yacht off the coast of New Jersey. Not too far from his home state of Rhode Island.

US Marshals & law enforcement are patting themselves on the back for nabbing the guy afrer 2 decades & a couple episodes of America's Most Wanted.🙄

Law enforcement already knows family members helped the fugitive remain on the lam. I wonder how many of them will face charges too.

I understand the privilege that comes with being a member of the dominant society.

I think it's petty as f8ck to flaunt that privilege in rhe face of everyone else. 🤣😎

Makes me wonder who did he piss off to end up being caught?

Did he forget, or neglect, or refuse to pay the WRONG muthaF'er?

These fugitives hide in plain sight.

Now that he's been apprehended, people will come outta the woodwork claiming they saw the same guy playing numbers & buying beer at a local store.

I remember when the former Boston gangster Whitey Bulger was caught in California chilling with his old lady.😁😎

.....which reminds me.

I think they did a movie about him a few years ago.
I gotta check it out.

I'm not sure if an "Irish" gangster film will be as interesting as an Italian one, though....lol.

Black Mass (2015) is based on Whitey Bulger. The Departed (2006) is loosely based on him.😎

I SAW the Departed.
I thought it was supposed to be about Whitey.....but it doesn't seem like it was.

I was thinking "The Irishman" was about him.
However I wasn't sure because I haven't seen that film yet.

The Departed was based on Whitey Bulger but not about him.😎

It wasn't a bad movie though.
Not the typical "mafia" film I expected because the Italian element was minimal....but I liked it.

It was a good movie. Presented the mafia Irish-style.😎
