BLINO--(Black in Name Only) Organizations?

Featured Replies

Maybe slightly provocative but @Breck hampton aka Harry's latest post inspired this thread.

BLINO (Black in name only) organizations exist primarily as social clubs to serve as controlled opposition within the system of racism white supremacy.

As long as Black organizations exist to enrich themselves as glorified social clubs & funded by non-Black people, they will remain ineffective when it comes to protecting Black people & championing our concerns & interests.

Black Lives Matter (BLM) sprung up in the wake of George Floyd being murdered & subsequent protests.

BLM used that situation to raise a lot of money. They disappeared shortly after the protests.

IMO, NAACP & Congressional Black Caucus & other legacy Black organizations are fossilized & too old to help Black people in modern times.

Many Black organizations may be great for chewing the fat but at some point they have to spit it out in order to eat real food.

It would be great to be proven wrong that these Black organizations are BLINOs.

I'll wait for those Black organizations to push legislation & champion reparations specifcally for FBA/AfroAmericans.😎

In the words of Fonzy from Happy Days....."exactamundo".....lol.

One thing....
I believe Black Lives Matter sprung up as a result of the Michael Brown murder, not George Floyd.
I remember they were around atleast as far back as 2016 because I had some BLM members working with me and my organization to help with the Flint Water Crisis back in 2016.
