As the circus turns, POTUS Oj banned CNN, Politico & MSNOW from covering the White House.

Wednesday night, a federal judge appointed by POTUS OJ ruled the ban was unlawful.

The White House didn't allow the banned news outlets access to the building until Thursday afternoon.

It was reported that CNN, Politico & MSNOW were not allowed to cover the State dinner with Chinese President Xi Jinping this evening.

The number of petty infractions POTUS OJ will pile up before he leaves office will fill a comic book.😁

The fact that POTUS OJ is allowed to get away with this foolishness is both ridiculous & hilarious. Makes for comedic source material.😎

I didn't know the main stream media outlets had a "right" to the Whitehouse anyway.

I thought it was all at the pleasure of whoever was in office.

Freedom of speech and press means freedom from being imprisoned or prosecuted for what you write....not freedom of access.

None of them has a right to roam around in the White House.🤣

However, the White House press pool is supposed to consist of news outlets regardless of politics.

Otherwse, the USA would have state-run TV like Russia or North Korea.

The news would be one-sided if only FOX & Newsmax & OAN were allowed to cover the White House.😁😎

First of all, most of the media is controlled by the government anyway through the FCC so in a sense it IS state controlled.

But personally, I think America SHOULD have a state-run television channel like some of these other countries so that it operates independently of the financial or profit factor.

I don't think governments should be beholden to private corporate interests but should always have the upper hand.

When they tell you that you can't show certain body parts.

I consider those stations truly neutral and what television SHOULD be like.

I remember seeing nudity and graphic violence on Channel 56 (the PBS station in Detroit) and wondering why the other television stations weren't showing this.

At my young age....I didn't realize that other stations CENSORED their programming.

It's called giving us the "facts".

If a Senator or CEO said "fuck those niggers" then we need to HEAR the video or audio of them saying it.
Not some censored bleeped out blurred out version that leads to confusion.

If there is a mass shooting maybe showing the bodies and what REALLY happens to people when they get shot will DETER others from doing it or caution other to be more vigilant so they won't fall victim to them.

Right now all they show is a bunch of police standing around with yellow tape everywhere.
This desensitizes people to the violence.

So in other words, they make you PAY for the truth...lol.
And even on cable you have mostly censorship because CNN and Fox News doesn't show you nudity, graphic real violence from news events, or even cussing.

They were allowed to show it in the name of being "educational".

We used to LOVE to look forward to certain shows on PBS because we knew we'd get the real.

Atleast once a year they'd have a sex education program on where they showed the stages a woman's body when through during pregnancy and finally show her having the baby. Full nudity, pubic hair, and even the baby coming out.

As a kid me and my family would sit in the living room and watch the real video footage of the riots that took place in the 60s and how the police would cuss at people and kill them and and you saw dead bodies and blood scattered on the streets.
Things the regular corporate channels never show.

This was back in the 70s and 80s.
I don't know if they even show that anymore.

It wasn't until I was a grown man that I realized that cussing and nudity was FREQUENTLY shown on regular broadcast channels in Europe!
Canada too, to a lesser extent.

If a man or woman suspects their significant other of cheating, they don't have to catch them in the act of f8cking to confirm it. There's no shortage of signs.

Reasonable-minded people can see & hear through the censor what's happening in that situation.

Eliminating the conditions that lead to violence is the only deterrence.

No amount of dead & mutilated bodies will stop people from harming & killing esch other.

Movies & video games & wars have done more to normalize violence & desensitize people than anything else.

Back in the 1980s, they thought Scared Straight would keep n8gglets from going to prison. There are more incarcerated people now.

The cable channels I'm referring to are showing movies.

Every now & then, the camera will catch a dead body or the mic will pick up somebody cussin'. The substance of the story is more important than crass visual & audio.

Europeans have always been more open when it comes to s8x & nudity than their American cousins.

Religion played a huge part in shaping American morality. Americans haven't totally abandoned their feelings about s8x & nudity. Just dress it up differently.😎
