Universal Basic Income And Capitalism

Featured Replies

Socialists, Communists, and other anti-Capitalists have for generations said that Capitalism is built on and operates off of cheap labor.

Establishing conditions in society where the masses are so in need and in many cases desperate for money that they are willing to work and produce for a wage.

This trade off....between production and wages...has been held at a delicate balance to ensure the economy keeps rolling.

That being the case.......
How would UBI and giving people money for NO LABOR work within a system like that?

Labor has outsourced for several decades. Cheap products keep the economy rolling.

The people will continue spending money on the consumables.

It's not like people are going to generate wealth whether investing &/or building a business with the UBI money. Put it righr back into the economy.😎
