RACHAEL   DOLEZAL   ADMITS   SHE  WAS  BORN   WHITE/RACHAEL    DOLEZAL WAS THE   FORMER  OFFICIAL   OF THE NAACP IN   WASHINGTON,STATE,SAYING SHE   WAS BORN  BLACK..NOW  ADMITS  SHE  WAS BORN  WHITE.WHEN  INTERVIEWED,SHE    SAID  SHE  UNDERSTANDS  THE  BLACK  EXPERIENCE.OK/SHE SAID  BLACKNESS CAN  BE DEFINED,PHILOSOPHICAL,CULTURAL   AND BIOLOGICAL.SHE  SEEMED  TO HAVE LIVED  THE BLACK LIVE I N AMERICA/  SOME ONE SAID  SHE  CAN   CHANGE  FROM WHITE   TO BLACK  WHEN  IT FITS  HER NEED./SHE  KNOWS    WHAT  BLACK  WOMEN   GO  THROUGH  IN   AMERICA./  SHE HAS NOT LIVED  THE BLACK  LIVE,,EACH DAY  IN THIS   COUNTRY/IF  STOPPED BY   RACIST  WHITE  POLICE,IS  SHE   ..SAYING    SHE IS  BLACK OR WHITE//SHE  IS   LIGHT   SKIN    ,LIKE  A  LOT  OF  BIRACIAL   PEOPLE,SO   SHE CAN    SAY   SHE  IS  BIRACIAL    NOT  WHITE,SHE  WAS SAYING  MONTHS  AGO./////SHE  KNOWS   WHAT  IT'S  LIKE BEING    BLACK  IN AMERICA.//////NO  SHE  DONT.//////

No she can't know what it means to be treated as "Black" in America, for we are targeted based upon skin color.  But a definition based skin color is a definition that is imposed upon a us by folks outside the group.

"Blackness" to Black people is about culture, not skin color; this is why a lily white person, like Rachel, could so easily "pass" as Black. 

 Blackness, by necessity, can't fixate on complexion.  So if you want to be Black, live with Black people, help and support Black people, or run a freaking chapter of the NAACP that is fone with me 'cause their are plenty of Black people fighting to remove themselves from anything Black, schools, communities, business, etc.
