25 Important New Books by African Writers

You know this is a good idea...if a book would make a solid college level reading selection maybe the time is better spent sending copies to professors who teach African-American Lit.

You know that makes sense to push these types of selections directly to people most likely to use it.  Just posting it on social media, or even here, and expecting it to just be discovered will not work.
