Troy
Read Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Article: "Wisconsin's only black-owned bookstore closes, leaving memories — and a void" After 28 years, Carla Allison is retiring and with her, the last black-owned bookstore in Wisconsin closed on Saturday (July 8th). I wonder what percentage of Black Owned Bookstores, or business for that matter, survive their owners?

Troy
In this case, it appears, the owner simply retired and the store went with her. I guess there was no need for a Go Fund me page; if no one was interested in ensuring the store continued.
