Read Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Article: "Wisconsin's only black-owned bookstore closes, leaving memories — and a void"

After 28 years, Carla Allison is retiring and with her, the last black-owned bookstore in Wisconsin closed on Saturday (July 8th).  I wonder what percentage of Black Owned Bookstores, or business for that matter, survive their owners?

Again where was the go-fund me page? 

In this case, it appears, the owner simply retired and the store went with her.  I guess there was no need for a Go Fund me page; if no one was interested in ensuring the store continued.
