Funny I attended the Rolex 24 which is a 24 race held on the same tract the Daytona 500 is held.  I actually called the "Rolex 24" the "Daytona 500" (not really understanding the difference.  It was explained to me that the Daytona 500 was NASCAR and in fact it was a more racist environment than the more gentile Rolex race.

 

In any event, Black folk don't figure significantly in either event.  Less of all as spectators. But with folks like Darrell and Brehanna this might change, 'cause there are plenty of Black motorheads.
