Former Homeless Woman, Now Best-Selling Author

I AM POWER, Divine Power Affirmations that Can Change Your Life One Moment at a Time

(Deltona, FL, May 25, 2019)  Daya Devi-Doolin, a Speaker and an Award-Winning Author, has offered a blueprint in her ninth book, I AM POWER on how to change your life one moment at a time! Daya at one point in her life was living a homeless life with her husband and author, Chris Doolin in Philadelphia, PA. Daya grew up in Philadelphia but left to work as a school teacher in Wilmington, DE. She eventually moved back to Philadelphia, met and married her husband. The day they married, someone (a friend) helped himself to the money they had been saving for a small honeymoon and it contained their rent for the next couple of months. As a result, they were evicted with no money for rent and had to live in condemned buildings, parks and park benches, porches and sometimes under cars parked in apartment complexes. They would get washed in fast food restaurants and found clothing at thrift shops and goodwill stores with the money they collected by playing music on the streets (both guitarists and singers). They were guitarists and singer/songwriters and still are.

Reviewer - Tonya K. Freeman “As I read through this awesome book, there were many smiles for the information shared. Some reminded me of things I had been aware of but hadn't used in quite some time...like Switchwords and freezing negative energy as well as using the body as a dowsing tool.

I enjoyed the easy flow with how she wrote. If you are looking to read a book that will assist you in manifesting a great life for yourself or at the very least, the best life possible, then I AM Power will open you up to more of who you are. Affirmations are a form of prayer and this book has some really good prayers within it.”

The couple would pray together every day and start their trek towards 15th and 16th & Chestnut St. to play as bus travelers got off at their location. People would stop and listen and throw bills and coins into their cases. Their prayers gave them the power to move on and forward each day not knowing where they’d sleep or how they would eat.  Daya didn’t know it but her tenure from teaching had been accruing money for retirement and the district from Wilmington, DE attempted to send her a check unbeknown to her. They finally addressed it to her mother who lived in Philadelphia under a Government apartment assistant program.

In her most recent book, she covers and explains how to use the Power given us through Creative Mind and what is actually Creative Mind. The power of thought is our inherited natural gift and our Maker is always in Total Agreement with whatever thoughts we hold true and entertain as truth.

Some of her Points:

  • We are all given the power and knowledge to work with thoughts and utilizing them as we align with them. Consciousness is IT! It creates the world we see and we are the directors of this VAST creation.

  • Our ego’s use of guilt, anger, blame, judgment or criticism keeps us in a prison and what we give out we receive while in that prison.

  • Changing our perception of what we see shows us the miracles that are before us.

  • We can become empowered enough to know we can change our life, relationships, any illness or our weight simply by the positive way you feel about yourself and by believing that we can do so through our imagination working with creative mind. Using our word, our intention and our imagination, we can change the molecular structure of our reality, our surroundings into one of a divine life.

Daya invites her readers to take a step back and consider an alternative perspective for themselves. Her book is certainly compelling, and whilst you might find similar texts on the subject few authors inspire on the level that Daya Devi-Doolin does, or more importantly succeed in making the vital connection between spiritual and bodily wellbeing. In clear and concise prose her guidance is easy to visualize and follow. Through her own transformative experiences, both concept and execution are easy to incorporate in our daily regimes. She includes Universal principles and divine powerful affirmations to compliment her holistic methodology, but it’s in the cleansing of mind and spirit that she opens us up to the possibilities of long-lasting and transformative change in our lives through influences we might otherwise not recognize or act upon.
