Sex, Race, and Robots - New Audiobook

Featured Replies

Seeking a book review from AALBC (and any interested readers). My audiobook, Sex, Race, and Robots - How to be Human in the Age of AI, is narrated by Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give) and is an exploration of how the tech world’s racial biases are infecting the next generation of Artificial Intelligence, with profoundly negative effects for humans of all genders and races.

The danger of bias in our AI-powered machines has never been greater. Governments are using supercomputers to track COVID-19 patients. AI is being employed to monitor Black Lives Matter protests. Voice recognition systems have been rolled out that can’t hear female voices. This book delivers a stirring warning about the risks of AI and robots - but also offers an uplifting message about empowerment and where we need to go next.

Thanks for considering!

Hi Ayanna, please remove the link to Au*ible it’s an am*zon Property. You may want to consider publishing the Audiobook with AuthorsRepublic too.

I was able to have my audiobook book distributed by Libro.fm which helps support this site.

AALBC boycotts amazon's books (all formats). Authors are encouraged to link to their own site or any indiebook seller.

I removed the link Amazon. We don't actually review audiobooks at this time, but it is something I should consider...
