Ours is the longest running and most visible bestsellers list focused on Black Books.  As a result you will learn about book selling well, in the Black community, that will never show up in the venerated NY Times Bestsellers list.  Sure there is some overlap with the NY Times list books like Caste, are popular in the white community too

 

I would love to see all of the independent booksellers, who focus on Black books, come up with a bestsellers list, but that is a surprisingly difficult thing to do, for a variety of reasons.
