Biography of Leah Hernandez

Leah Hernandez is the Founder and CEO of Muse Inc., an award-winning publishing company committed to amplifying diverse voices in adult fiction and nonfiction. Muse Inc. includes several imprints, notably its flagship, Young Authors Publishing, and has published over 55 titles by marginalized authors, significantly expanding the literary landscape.

A graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a degree in Business Administration (Marketing concentration), Leah was recognized in 2021 as one of Publishers Weekly’s “Star Watch Nominees.”

Dedicated to fostering diversity in publishing, Leah launched the Blk Powerhouse Summit in 2025 to build community, share knowledge, and champion inclusive industry leadership on our own terms.
