Deborah Day
Deborah Day is the Founder and CEO of Ashay by the Bay. She started the Vallejo, California (near San Francisco) based company in 1997. She began selling books in 2002.
Ashay by the Bay is a publishing and marketing company that specializes in reselling African American and Multi-Cultural Children’s Books (Pre-School to High School), Adult Books, and other educational products. They also provide Online and Onsite Book Fairs. Day is also the author and publisher of the Mindful Messages book and workbook curriculum which she uses to work with youth through the Mindful Messages Mentoring Program in Oakland.
