Diasporic Africa Press (DAP) is a non-for-profit publisher of scholarly books and K-12 materials about the African world. By "African world," we mean the worldwide African experience from antiquity to the present, and originating out of but remaining in various ways connected to the peoples and cultures of the African continent. DAP is dedicated to meaningful ideas and projects from veterans and new scholars that help us deliver on our mission. As a service to humanity, we produce and disseminate global African stories laden with integral perspectives, and along the way, partner with writers to provide high quality and informed scholarship for the global public. In so doing, we aim to also feed a global lore that cannot exist without African-based ideas and their worldwide stories.
