Circle of Sisters is a book club for women of color in the Metro Phoenix area who share a love of reading. We meet primarily in the East Valley, but we do have members in Scottsdale and Laveen. Circle of Sisters reads both fiction and non-fiction and primarily African-American authors. We meet once a month (the last Friday of the month) at a member’s home to discuss that month’s selection, share a meal, and to encourage one another. Circle of Sisters provides not only an opportunity to share thoughts on the books read, but to provide a support system for one another as well as forge friendships.
