Southern Violet BookClub from Augusta, GA

Southern Violet BookClub is not just any book club. It is a reading group that will allow diverse backgrounds of African-American women to come together, as friends, confidants and sistahs. The mission and primary purpose of the book club is to spiritually strengthen and unite black women as sisters. Stressing the value in women mentoring other women, nurturing each other dreams, sharing wisdom and experiences and building networks of strong friendship, by showcasing the finest books written by and for African Americans, books that will touch all aspects of our life.
