Comprised of both men and women who believe in getting together for a good read, coupled with community service to help address the illiteracy crisis in the Black community. We are a fun-loving group of avid readers. Once a month we gather to discuss the book selection and to celebrate the achievements of members both personally and professionally. On our agenda is guest authors, fellowship activities and events, coupled with the planning of our Young Writers' Retreat. Our intent is to become a catalyst for producing change agents who work to strengthen our community, turning out writers and to become a lifeline for Black authors seeking support in the literary arena.
