Our mission is to provide a forum for women of color to expand their knowledge of black literature, assist in empowering our community through outreach, and promote sisterhood. An informal group of approximately 10 members, the Sistahs meet on the last Saturday of each month for discussion of a selected African American piece, great food, and sisterly fun. We also perform community service such book donations and a back-to-school supplies drive.
