WB is a group of eleven African American Women who meet once a month to discuss the book of the month and just have a good time. This sister friend circle has a New York/New Jersey chapter (6 members) and a Macon, GA chapter (10 members). SWB chapter will be celebrating their two year anniversary in November 1999. The monthly dues collected go to a designated charity. The Baltimore chapter recently held a Rock Bowl & Read party. The sisters collected 105 new and used children books that were donated the Cal Ripken Learning Center/Baltimore Reads Literacy Program.
