We are members who are co - workers who share an a great interest in African American literature. We started by exchanging books and discussing them in the office. Each month one member picks a book for us to read and then at the end of the month we meet for dinner at a restaurant to discuss what we have read. Our dinner meeting are quite enjoyable and very lively. With only two male in the group we sometimes find ourselves having defend some of our brothers that we read about. Our book for the month of November is "In my father's house" by Ernest Gaines who one of the great African American mystery writers.
