e meet once a month and each member graciously opens their home and heart for our literary discussion. We are African American women with diverse personalities who have a heart for reading, for being service oriented and who love one another. We have a junior girls book club that range from ages 10 to 15. We sponsor them during the summer, on their birthdays and at Christmas. We have hosted such authors as Travis Hunter, Cheris Hodges and Electa Rome Parks for book signings and book discussions. We are not just limited to reading.
