There were eight founding members that had a love for reading African American Authors. Since that time we have lost founding members and added new faces. Our book club consist of nine women from different professional fields and backgrounds. Our mission is to to increase our appreciation of African American literature while building life long relationships. We also have a passion to give back to the community through financial giving and service. We meet on the third Friday of each month at 7:30pm except (July and December).
