We meet once a month for stimulating, intellectual and thought provoking conversation. Our meeting places vary from local eateries, bookstores and personal in-home sessions hosted by members. Each monthly reads are selected by our book analysts who are responsible for previewing books. We do this to keep a consistent level of quality in the books that we select. We rate our host location and the book for each month on our website. We are more than a social book club, we strive to be positive examples of African Americans in our communities. We do sponsor outside events for our club. We attend book signings, plays, city events and other cultural outings that encourage enlightenment. Our goal is to become a more visual part of the African American community in promoting LITERACY and EDUCATION.
