A Novel Idea from Houston, TX

A Novel Idea started with about 20-25 members. About 4 of us decided that we all had various circles of friends who had never met, but had the 4 of us in common. We got together, each inviting several buddies and began meeting at each other's homes, or restaurants. While certainly not criteria, each of us maintain professional careers, have families, and are avid readers. We enjoy reading the obscure stuff from all sorts of authors. As Texans, our book club is centered around not only the monthly selection, but the FOOD! The hostess for a particular meeting serves as discussion leader as well. We're Texans--menus are everything. We range in ages 27-38.
