Notes:

The Sisters of Adinkra Book Club meets the 3rd Sunday of each month at a member’s home at 3:30pm and share a meal, discuss the book selection and enjoy fun and fellowship. We view all sources of knowledge as a way to improve our minds and the environment around us. Seeking this knowledge, we explore a vast array of dynamic literary genres penned by creative writers of the African Diaspora; men and women, both past and present. Adinkra is the West Africa Symbols used in Ghana having deep traditional and contemporary significance. We hope that our chosen name helps to convey that we are spiritual, creative, lovers of wisdom, driven by a never-ending thirst for enlightenment.
