We are Christian, friendly, intelligent women varying in age (thirty something to sixty something) working in a variety of occupations. We will meet once a month on the fourth Saturday from 2:30- to whenever. Each month we will have a hostess. The meeting will be at the Hostess's home or other designated place of her choosing (park, reception center, restaurant etc....). Books will be chosen by group consensus from our categories: new authors, mystery, romance, the classics, inspirational/self help, autobiography/biography and controversial/non-fiction. We have a Scholarship Committee and annually have The Julia Beasley Scholarship Award Luncheon to honor our recipient(s). We have a Bi-monthly newsletter. We discuss our book-of-the month, contemporary issues, network and fellowship.
