Women of Flava was co-founded by Lauren Nutter-Rowan, Caroline Barron, Latonya Williams, Tara Talton, Gerri Robinson, Audey Key and LaKisha Gardner. Women of Flava represents groups of distinguish African-American women, which come with different "walks of life", to combine together as one in "FLAVA". The new ideas of dedicating time to participate in difference culture activities has brought this book club to a new adventure and a profound awareness. The small history of this book club has created new friendships among different ages of women. The book club now has ten members and still growing strong. We meet the last Saturday of each month.
