A survey was conducted to explore the interest of a book discussion group in the Chesapeake area. After the news of the group, the Greenbrier Library offered its co-sponsorship. Our only prerequisite of books discussed, is that the author must be of African descent. The group's core consists of 15 - 20 regular members. Ages ranging from 18 - 60+. All are welcome. We meet every third Tuesday of the month at Greenbrier Library from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Our group is an exchange of dialogue with character, strength, humor, wisdom and LOVE. We are proud to be a part of this evolution and hope you will join us on this journey of growth.
