Our goal is to edify African American authors and to be supportive to our community by means of literary contributions as well as financial support. Our book meetings are scheduled 10 months/year. We rotate our meetings amongst each member, and each month's host has the meeting at a location of her choice. Each host recommends the next month's book. We break in August for vacations and we have a wonderful Christmas celebration in December. We're always in search of a good book to read.
