Where readers, writers and artist meet to discuss the books and ideas that touch our hearts and minds. We are also affiliated with our own non-profit non-stock charitable organization under the same name that is recognized by the State Corporation Commission of Virginia. Our Motto is: "Where friends gather for the enjoyment of reading and where writers & artist can open the doorway to their world." Our Vision is: to provide a comfortable setting where readers, writers, and artist in our community can express their thoughts and ideas while having a positive, intellectual, stimulating literacy discussion while having FUN. Our Goals are to: Inspire, motivate, challenge and broaden our members' outlook by expanding the members' personal reading experience. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and by their varied perspectives and experiences we bring diversity to an informal discussion panel. We are more than a social book club; we are BOOK LEADERS who strive to be positive role models within ourselves, our homes and our communities, by networking with other book clubs and literary organizations. We are for the most part a group of individuals who want to empower each other. Our Mission is: to discuss, uplift, and enlighten ourselves, our friends, our families and our community, while we promote the diverse spectrum of all ethnic literature and fine cultural arts.
