In August of 1998 a group of 11 black women's consisting of coworkers, friends and family decided to join together for the joy of reading and having stimulating conversation about books, authors, current events or whatever topic a member wants to talk about. We read a variety of books (romance, mystery, horror, autobiography, etc.) We have monthly meetings each member host a meeting at their home or a place of their choice.
