Hello Reader, I am Brandon Williams and my new book, Self-Value: The Story of Me, is my autobiography. I lived a very hard life. As a young child, life for me were abnormally bad and I just did not understand why. But, I managed to endure and survive the many struggles of my young life by learning to place value in myself even when no one else did. I never knew my father and my mother effectively became a life-long drug addict. Although she was physically present at different stages of my life, she was never actually present.
At the age of seven (7), my life began to take a downward spiral and there was no one there to help protect me from the brutalities of life. Many times life nearly broke me and I often thought of killing myself as a means to break free from the unbearable pressures of life. But I didn’t give up, I survived, and I am here to share my inspirational story. I had to overcome so many obstacles in my young and adult life, but I prevailed and you can too. Self-Value: The Story of Me, is an eye-opening, poignant, often hilarious story that explores my twelve years of childhood homelessness, juvenile delinquency and success. My life story is about a mother and son in peril that finds serenity through their faith.
